A Unique Experience I had a thoroughly enjoyable day learning about the fascinating ecosystem of the Kemeri Boglands.
There was an easy walk along the wooden boardwalks, which allowed one to inspect close up the plant life and the impact of water on the environment. I was struck by the beauty of this unique place.
Rolands, my guide, was personable and knowledgeable about all things Latvian and he was able to answer questions on a broad range of topics. The optional trip to Jermala beach is also highly recommended.

He provided so much interesting information about the places that we went to and so much more about Latvia in general and gave recommendations. We wished we were staying longer to explore more of the countryside outside Riga. Kemeri was so peaceful and beautiful even without any sun - a gentle boardwalk hike around a fascinating place. Great view from the towers. Rolands took lots of photos for us - great to have those memories and he provided some sweets and sweet herbal tea. A genuinely lovely person who made the day and knew a lot about a lot and was fluent in English.
We learnt so much. I would wholeheartedly recommend. Loved it!

A beautiful spot in the Baltics. A beautiful spot to explore close to Riga. I've never been to a bog before and having the chance to go to one as large and beautiful as this was a real treat,

Amazing, peaceful and recharching trip Rolands was a really nice tour guide. He explained a lot about Latvian culture, the national park and its importance. The national park is an amazing place, which is definitvely worth the visit! With its special colours and atmosphere, the national park is a great contrast to the city Riga.
If you want to really dive into the Latvian culture, you need to be in nature.
Paldies to Rolands, we would, of course, do the trip again!

Amazing trip! Highly recommend amazing trip with Rolands. He is a great tourguide and very fun as well! It was such a great day. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend to book his tours.
We really learned a lot during our tour today and also got to taste some Latvian sweets which Rolands brought us. And he‘s a great photographer as well. That‘s nice because we not often have photos of the two of us.

A perfect unique experience! I don’t even know how to start the review. Everything was perfect. The guide (Rolands) contacted me few days before the adventure asking for my shoe size just to ensure I have comfortable rubber boot that fits and reminded me of all the things I should bring for the day.

I was the only participant since it’s off season but the entire experince wasnt ackward at all. I had so much fun. My first ever experience bog-shoeing in the wild thru off beaten path and I’m really glad that I did this. It is a unique experience and the place / view is so stunning! Rolands picked up some wild berries for me to try. And I love them!

I would definately recommend this activity to everyone who loves nature. 5 ️ from me!

Great day with Rolands in Gauja We had a wonderful trip with Rolands. He is such a friendly person, a terrific guide, and is very knowledgeable about the area’s significance and history. I would gladly book another trip with him!

It was a pleasure 🙂 We liked the trip very much. We started the day with a walk around the Gauja National Park, which delighted us with its views. Lunch was planned in a very nice place, and it was very tasty. Then we went towards the castle and we stopped at the viewing point. We also loved the peaceful surroundings. The trip is perfect for people who want to take a break from the noise of the city. In these few hours you can calm down and spend a nice time close to nature. The guide is a true professional. A perfectly balanced dose of knowledge and a sense of humor. We had a very nice time, this day made us want to return to Latvia and choose another trip with the same guide. It was a great pleasure, thank you.

Bog walk with a „professional“ Very convenient tour. The walk through the bog was just great. Our guide Rolands is a bog pro and knows everything about it. He gave us very detailed information and we had a lot of fun as well.
Bog walk took about 2 hours.
